Las asociaciones de periodistas y críticos cinematográficos de Estados Unidos de América dieron a conocer a los contendientes por sus premios; decepcionan las 10 nominaciones para la intrascendente Arrival, más si consideramos que la bellísima Moonlight cuenta con la misma cantidad de nominaciones pese a ser una cinta más profunda e interesante.
Reconocimientos más adecuados y merecidos son las 12 nominaciones de La La Land, lo que desde ahorita la convierte en la favorita para llevarse el premio a ‘Mejor Película’ y se perfila como una de las favoritas para el Oscar 2017.
También cabe destacar el extraordinario año que el chileno Pablo Larraín lleva. El cual aquí se ve recompensado con ocho nominaciones en total entre sus cintas Jackie y Neruda. Director cinematográfico que en los próximos días visitará la Ciudad de México.
Por último hay que destacar también el discreto poder de cintas como; Manchester by the Sea (8), Hacksaw Ridge (7), Fences (6), Lion (6), Hell or High Water (6), Loving (4), Nocturnal Animals (3) y The Edge of Seventeen (3).
